IntelliPlex™ PIK3CA Mutation Kit

The IntelliPlex™ PIK3CA Mutation Kit is a qualitative molecular assay for the detection of 17 somatic mutations on exons 9 and 20 of the PIK3CA gene in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue (FFPET). A total of 17 mutations can be identified in a single well by using PlexBio's core πCode™ technology.

The IntelliPlex™ PIK3CA Mutation Kit is an in-vitro molecular test based on πCode™ technology and PlexBio's instrument platform to identify 17 nucleotide changes on exons 9 and 20 of the PIK3CA gene. πCode™ technology enables the multi-mutations detection in single-well with DNA samples derived from formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues. The kit provides all necessary optimized reagents for the sensitive detection of low levels of mutant DNA in a background of wild-type genomic DNA by simultaneous PCR amplification of target mutations. The testing results could deliver crucial molecular status for evaluation.
